The 2001 and 2003 tax relief packages are set to expire at the end of this year. If these packages are allowed to expire, on January 1, 2011, taxes will go up automatically for American taxpayers.

President Obama, being the slick politician that he is, likes to use technicalities to move his agenda forward so that he doesn’t have to tell us what he’s really doing. So in letting the tax cuts expire he can claim that he didn’t raise taxes. He just “let the tax cuts expire.”

Any thinking person who doesn’t worship Obama because of his race or perceived charisma can see that it’s just a word game. That taxes increased no matter what word games this president is trying to play.

So let’s do what we can to get this Tax Hike Prevention Act passed so that we Americans won’t have to worry about the government constantly making addtional grabs at our paychecks, pocketbooks, bank accounts and retirement savings.
