It’s true in so many ways. One being that he’s taxing away more and more of what Americans could be saving for retirement. He’s doing that by taxing the life out of corporations that we not only work for but invest in. When they have less money because the government is taxing it away to waste, hand out to liberal/socialist favored groups like unions and foreign interests, their ability to hire, pay well, sell for less and make a profit decreases. It’s difficult to do business or retire when you can’t tell your enemy from your President.

House Votes to Repeal Obamacare 245-189
Finally we punch back against socialism!
The House of Representatives voted 245-189 vote to repeal President Obama’s health care plan passed by Congress last year, with 3 Democrats joining the majority. This vote is the first step in Republican efforts to repeal and defund the program. To fully repeal the program the Senate must pass the repeal legislation, followed by President Obama’s approval.

This comes off the news of Republicans highlighting the fact that the Obama administration awarded “waivers” to Unions so that union members wouldn’t have to be under Obamacare.
Since the unions vote 90 percent for Democrat candidates they don’t have to have Obamacare but the rest of us do.
If Obamacare is so great, why would anyone want a pass (a.k.a. “a waiver”)? Or why would Obama see giving them a waiver as a way to butter them up?
This just goes to show how bad the government takeover of healthcare really is and that Obama knows it. But only people he likes get to avoid it.
So let’s hope and pray that the repeal passes the Senate also to put pressure on Obama.
TweetDemocrats First Act of 2011 to Object to Reading of Constitution
During Republican’s planned reading of the United States Constitution there has been yelling and objecting thus far with Democrats calling the reading of the founding document that they swore to uphold and protect, “propaganda” and “total nonsense.”
I suppose this makes sense seeing as how Democrats object to anything that sets limits on intrusion by the federal government into the lives of the people. Democrats have proven that they want near absolute power over the people and the ability to remove freedom and income at will. Is it any wonder they object to the reading of a document that puts limits on government power over the people?
The Constitution was written by men who were weary of a king and government who ruled their lives and took their income. Now an election has happened by a people weary of the same. So what Democrats really object to is that they hear objections to their own actions in the Constitution. They are hearing the anger and resolve of men who objected to the type of governing we’ve seen from Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama. And the party who is reading it won in record numbers thanks to a people who, like the founders, were (and are) sick and tired of it.
The words of the Constituion scare them because hundreds of years ago those same words dethroned a government that thought itself above the people and beyond the people’s reproach. Those same words were spoken by a people who revolted against tyranny to take back their lives from the jaws of a government who limited the people rather than being limited by the people.
Of course Democrats don’t want to hear that!
TweetRepublican-controlled House to open Congress with reading of Constitution
The Constitution frequently gets lip service in Congress, but House Republicans next year will make sure it gets a lot more than that – the new rules the incoming majority party proposed this week call for a full reading of the country’s founding document on the floor of the House on Jan. 6.
The goal, backers said, is to underscore the limited-government rules the Founders imposed on Congress – and to try to bring some of those principles back into everyday legislating. Full Story
TweetThe Reason for the Second Ammendment to the Constitution
This is Suzanna Gratia-Hupp talking a few years ago about a terrible true story that happened and how lives could have been saved if people were allowed to arm themselves.
Guns are not just for us to defend ourselves from other people, but to defend ourselves from the government and from foreign governments. Famous communists and other dictators knew this and disarmed the people so they would have no way to fight back (Hitler, Castro, Qaddafi, Stalin, Mao Tse-tung, Kim Jong-il, etc.).
Isoroku Yamamoto, a legendary Japanese Naval Marshal General in the 1920s/1930s and enemy of the United States (before they became our allies) said, “I would never invade the United States. There would be a gun behind every blade of grass.”
Quite simply, if guns are outlawed, innocent people (people who followed the law) would be rendered helpless against law breakers who would be the only ones owning guns. We must stop the government from taking more and more small steps toward outlawing guns and/or controlling them. That’s typical of our government, it wants to control us in more and more ways on almost a daily basis.
TweetObama to Sign Bill Limiting School Bake Sales!
A bill on its way to President Barack Obama gives the government power to limit school bake sales and other fundraisers that health advocates say sometimes replace wholesome meals in the lunchroom.
Republicans and public school organizations decry the bill as an unnecessary intrusion on a common practice often used to raise money. “This could be a real train wreck for school districts,” Lucy Gettman of the National School Boards Association said Friday, a day after the House cleared the bill.
“The federal government should not be in the business of regulating this kind of activity at the local level.”
I guess we’re replacing freedom with what the Government decides is best for us. I think it’s humorously sad that the ruling-class Democrats say that small-government TEA Party folks are extremist, but the White House telling a school it can’t sell brownies at a bake sale is somehow NOT extremist! Talk about tyranny! The government is micromanaging bake sales now!? And we’re not under a socialist regime? Yeah right.
What’s next? Obama outlawing girl scout cookies? How much intrusion will the American people allow the Obama administration?
TweetBig Chunk of Obama Bailout Went to Foreign Banks
This from MoneyNews.com:
The Federal Reserve has revealed details of more than $3 trillion in emergency aid it provided to U.S. and foreign banks during the financial crisis.
So that’s what a big piece of your hard-earned money went to, foreign banks. It’s bad enough that that tax dollars of Americans who worked hard for their money and didn’t waste it went to bailout corporations and the government itself, now we learn that a large part of that money went to foreign banks. Is it any wonder that so many people are furious that the Obama administration is looking to take more of our income via tax hikes? Who in their right mind would trust Obama, or any part of this overfed government with any more of our hard-earned money? They’ve only proved the stunning ability to waste incredible amounts of what we work for on a daily basis.
As many have said, Washington D.C. has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.
TweetRep. Buyer to Dem Speaker: “This is why the people have thrown you out!”
Great video here of Republican Steve Buyer telling the lame duck Democrat speaker that abuse of power is why Democrats have been thrown out. He slams Democrats for political “treachery” and “stunts” and said that it is “the right thing to do by the American people to stop these tactics!”
He’s absolutely right. This is another trait of communism and socialism and that is to silence voices of disagreement. We see this with Democrats wanting to ban Rush Limbaugh and others from the airwaves. Free speech is the enemy of socialism and communism and Representaive Buyer calls them on it! Please retweet!
TweetGovernment Set to Control Your Light Switch
The next step in government tyranny in the name of saving the planet won’t even require the House, Senate and President to vote.
The Department of Energy recently decided they have authority over appliances in your home. Energy Secretary Steven Chu recently issued five new energy efficiency standards for large appliances, and is reworking the policy to include ten new categories. According to Assistant Energy Secretary Cathy Zoi “…we have a mandate. Where we can actually just issue regulations and do market transformation.”
They think they have hte power to transform the market. The “free” market and they’ll tell you it’s for an environmental cause in order to sell it to the gullible among us.
This also from BigGovernment.com:
Smart Grid sounds harmless and modern, but it will be incredibly intrusive. Appliances in the future will have microchips installed; when you plug them in, they will handshake with the grid, and a central authority will determine whether that appliance deserves to get power or not. If a bureaucrat in Washington decides that it’s not hot enough for you to put on the air conditioner, your air conditioner will not work. If the Fed decides that Margaritas lead to too much trouble on Cinco de Mayo, all blenders can be disabled for the day.
They can also turn off radios, televisions and computers. In the era of electronic information, restricting the freedom of the press is as easy as turning off the light. The idea is to conserve power, but a Smart Government will be able to use the technology to retain power as well.
We’ve given up our freedom in small pieces but eventually, like large governments of the past, those pieces can be connected and before we know it a noose is around the neck of freedom.
TweetThe Real Story Behind the First Thanksgiving
After watching a recent school play entitled, “The First Thanksgiving,” I once again realized the historical ignorance that exists today and the watering down of history that has been done by many school systems. The school play basically said that after a “hard winter” the pilgrims celebrated that the “hard winter” was over by inviting their friends, the Native Americans, to share a large feast. But there were no details on what made that winter hard and how they had enough food for a large feast.
That’s where the reference section will do us all a world of good. You see, the pilgrims had a hard winter because they experimented with communism. That’s right, communism. They shared everything evenly no matter who worked to grow or kill the food and who refused to work. Eventually there were more living off the workers than there were workers. And the workers resented that so what do you think they did? More and more of them quit working which killed the production of food until at one point the ration for each pilgrim was 4 kernels of corn per day. They were literally starving!
The solution? Free market capitalism. When everyone had to work to eat or work to provide for their families, MORE PEOPLE WORKED which meant there was more food to share — even with the natives. The pilgrims learned this lesson and it helped shape the United States. Read the fascinating story and please share it so that this Thanksgiving more people will know the true story of the “first Thanksgiving.”
