With the admissions of dishonesty from so many of the scientists who originally were telling the world that it was warming and with the global temperatures decreasing over the last few years, the global warming bandwagon has become pretty light. Most thinking people are seeing that the vast majority of the global warming claims were from people who wanted government money to fund a research project or to pad the pockets of their “green” company/stocks. Some liberal politicians on the Democrat’s side even wanted to use the issue to bring more socialism and communism into our mostly free-market system. A government can use a perceived emergency to take more command over our lives and to move more money into their own pet projects or wallets.
Obama literally pardons some from the government’s intrusion into healthcare. Isn’t the hypocrisy delicious and digusting?! If you bow to Obama, like the unions (or does he bow to them?) you don’t have to have Obamacare shoved down your throat.
A free people at this point would ask why some would NEED to be pardoned from ObamaCare if it’s so wonderful as advertized. Secondly, why do some get to be pardoned from this government takeover while others, like you and me, have to have it forced on us?
Unions target your private retirement savings

Will the government outlaw your 401(k) plan? It seems like an absurd possibility, yet earlier this month two Democratic senators, Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., held a hearing on Capitol Hill exploring the possibility of doing exactly that.
On Oct. 8, the two senators from the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee held a hearing on “Retirement (In)security in America.” Among the proposals discussed was “Guaranteed Retirement Accounts,” or GRAs.
The purpose of the GRA proposal is simple: To force Americans to stop putting their retirement savings money into private 401(k) accounts and send their money to the government instead.Read more at the Washington Examiner.

The 2001 and 2003 tax relief packages are set to expire at the end of this year. If these packages are allowed to expire, on January 1, 2011, taxes will go up automatically for American taxpayers.
President Obama, being the slick politician that he is, likes to use technicalities to move his agenda forward so that he doesn’t have to tell us what he’s really doing. So in letting the tax cuts expire he can claim that he didn’t raise taxes. He just “let the tax cuts expire.” Continue reading →

By the third quarter of 2008, 44% were, according to the most recent Census Bureau data.” So the trend is growing. In the eighties, 30% were in a household receiving government checks. At the end of the story, a man says: “‘I don’t like taking government money,’ … but ‘what else is there?’”
This is one of the reasons for the existence of this website. Most people don’t have a clue as to the extent that communism has forced itself on the United States. It’s interesting that recent polls have shown that Wall Street investment managers prefer a gridlocked government. That is, they prefer an even number of Republicans and an even number of Democrats so that neither of them gets their way and nothing happens.
